Participating with the IUL and local coalitions, The Exchange and it’s advocacy committee offer their voice through testimony, their time to community hearings and meetings, and their leadership to grassroots, local and state level issues that affect their communities and Urban Young Professionals. You can find our members serving and leading on various Boards and Commissions at all levels. They are at the table for Visit Indy’s Tourism Master Plan, Marion County Citizens Complaint Review Board, Indiana Civil Rights Commission, The Marion County Judicial Selection Committee, Race Relations Leadership Network, the African American Coalition of Indianapolis Steering Committee and other committees as they arise.
On a national level, The Exchange participates with the NULYP on it’s advocacy efforts and delivering to Indianapolis through voter education, issue spotting, and mobilization efforts to create impact.
