You are cordially invited to join the Indianapolis Urban League for the 2025 Housing Convening
on Friday, November 14th, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Martin University, 2185 North Sherman Drive
This important community-centered gathering brings together landlords, tenants, property managers, returning citizens, housing advocates, service providers and policymakers to address the urgent growing housing crisis in Indianapolis.
National housing expert Gregg Colburn, author of Homelessness Is a Housing Problem, will deliver the keynote address, Homelessness Is a Housing Problem, to help drive a powerful dialogue examining root causes right here in our city.
The Housing Convening will offer practical strategies, resources, and opportunities to work together toward safe, affordable, quality housing for all.
Breakfast and lunch are provided. Seating is limited.

The IUL’s Community Access & Reintegration Effort (CARE) Program provides returning citizens a continuum of supportive wrap-around services throughout their adjustment to community living over a two-year period.
SENIOR SERVICES PROGRAM
Every 1st Thursday of the Month| 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Seniors aged 55 and older are invited to join this monthly program to receive resources and support services and engage with our guest speakers.
VETERAN’S SERVICES PROGRAM
Every 3rd Tuesday of the Month| 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Assisting veterans and those who served in the military with the tools and support needed to transition back into civilian life.
SAVING OUR SISTERS PROGRAM
Every 1st Wednesday of the Month | 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Young women ages 18-24 are invited to engage with our team to define and achieve your personal goals, receive access and support in securing and retaining employment, completing short-term training in high-demand industry sectors, and in developing and sustaining a healthy life-style and positive relationships.
