The Indianapolis Urban League (IUL) continues to be the leading voice articulating the need for inclusion in the Central Indiana Community. With the state of our country and the future fate of our underserved populations at risk, we strive to be the safe haven offering tangible resources and viable solutions to the individuals and families we empower on a daily basis.
We remain committed to our mission while growing our programs to meet the needs of our clients and the demands of the workforce and continue the ongoing fight for inclusive economics, bias crimes legislation, livable wages, criminal justice reform, improved police/community relations, protections for citizens against evictions and payday lenders with excessive loan rates.
Since its inception, Equal Opportunity Day continues to unite leaders while celebrating the accomplishments of our aspiring youth, underserved and underemployed adults, The Exchange Fellows, and raise awareness for our most pressing community challenges while raising funds to support empowering community programs and services for underserved residents.
