On Friday, September 12, the Indianapolis Urban League hosted our annual An Urban Affair – Signature Gala at the, historic and newly renovated, Indiana Roof Ballroom to celebrate 60 years of service in the city of Indianapolis!
Continuing the celebration of this milestone with over 600 people in attendance, and their generosity, we exceeded our goal, raising over $25,000 in unrestricted funds for the Indianapolis Urban League; a constant agent of change within the city.

The Gala was emceed by Hanna Mordoh and Derricke Dennis of WISH-TV, the evening honored outstanding changemakers both within Indianapolis and our agency. Reverend R. Janae Pitts-Murdock, Senior Pastor, Light of the World Christian Church eloquently gave the invocation and Maria D. Wiley, IUL Vice Board Chair welcomed guests on behalf of Amy Warner, IUL Board Chair.
