Michael Woods is a Support Specialist for the Special Populations Support Program at the Indianapolis Urban League. He is a native Hoosier and has worked in the non- profit community in Indianapolis in Social Services for well over 25 years, spending 20 of those years as a Case Manager and Support Specialist. He has an unwavering affinity for helping others. His professional training includes working with individuals with various handicaps and grief counseling. His training has prepared him to work in several summer camps throughout the country, working with disadvantaged youths as well as handicapped youths. Currently, Michael uses his extensive training working with individuals living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Michael has an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from Brown Mackie College. Michael is a Gospel recording artist and has recorded with the renowned Rodnie Bryant and the Christian Community Mass Choir. Michael is also a licensed and ordained minister.
