
Project Ready Program Scholarship
Annually, the Project Ready Program awards eight, one-time, $2,500 post-secondary degree scholarships to seniors enrolled in the Project Ready Program.
Eligible:
- If you are a senior in high school and enrolled in the Indianapolis Urban League Project Ready Program you can apply for the Project Ready Scholarship.
- Applications are being accepted from Friday, February 28 through 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Only complete online applications will be accepted. Please read all questions and follow the checklist.

Project Ready Program History
In April 2008, the Indianapolis Urban League (IUL) received a two-year grant from the National Urban League to implement the Project Ready (PR) Curriculum in Indianapolis. The Indianapolis affiliate is one of the original eight Project Ready sites nationwide.

Indianapolis Urban League Education Matters Scholarship
The Indianapolis Urban League Education Matters Scholarship Fund awards a $2,000 renewable scholarship for four (4) years to African-Americans in Central Indiana who are incoming college freshmen pursuing a 2- or 4-year college degree from an accredited college or university. Students are required to enroll full-time and maintain a 2.5 GPA. The recipient must submit a college enrollment verification form and transcript to maintain the scholarship each year.
Eligible:
- If you are a high school senior and enrolled in a public or private school in Marion County, you are eligible to apply for the Indianapolis Urban League Education Matters Scholarship.
- Applications for the Indianapolis Urban League Education Matters Scholarship are being accepted Friday, February 28 through 5:00 p.m., on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Only complete online applications will be accepted. Please read all questions and follow the checklist.
