Mr. Tolvi R. Patterson is a proud native of Philadelphia, PA. “Dr. P”, as he is affectionately called by friends and family, has a tremendous passion for people, specifically youth. Mr. Patterson is graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) where he studied Leadership & Sociology.

Later Mr. Patterson received his Master’s Degree from Indiana Institute of Technology (Indiana Tech) in Organizational Leadership. Mr. Patterson began his employment with the Indianapolis Urban League in the capacity of a Project Ready Coordinator in October of 2015. Mr. Patterson manages the Project Ready Program at Ben Davis High School in Wayne Township which currently serves over 400 students.

He is an avid reader, developer, cultivator, and mentor to those that need help. Mr. Paterson’s favor quotes are as follows: “Be the Change in the world that you want to see” and “the greatest among you is he who is your servant”. Mr. Patterson’s goal is to make people better people by giving them the tools, opportunities and permission to change at a pace that is conducive with their destiny.

Mr. Patterson is the son of Dennis G. Patterson Sr. & Gwenevera Patterson, two of the most amazing people he knows. He has four siblings Adtwan D. Edmonson, Dennis G. Patterson Jr., Lateefah T. Patterson, and Christina M. Monroe.
