Project Ready Mentors

Meet our Mentors

Meet Gregory Fletcher

Gregory has been an amazing asset at Warren Central High School and The Renaissance School since becoming a mentor a year ago. He brings a young professionals’ perspective to student group discussions and when tag-teaming with the site coordinator in preparing and executing projects.

Greg has a genuine connection with the students in all settings, from field trips to completing college applications, to applying for financial aid and scholarships.

“I appreciate his leadership and his knowledge. I am glad to have him as a mentor to make our impact on our students FUN!”

Meet Gary D. Peters

“As food and knowledge are essential to the soul, so is mentorship! Working with the Indianapolis Urban League gives me the opportunity to reach back to help guide our youth to make wise decisions for their futures. In this day and age of Covid-19, uncertain futures, challenging college admissions, and unstable homes, I know that the mission and work of the Urban League are vital more than ever. I only hope that I may be a beacon of light in my community to help mentor young adults one by one. I appreciate the opportunity and I fully support organizations like IUL which uplift youth in America,” said Peters.
