What is the Indianapolis Urban League Kwanzaa Holiday Assistance Program?
The Kwanzaa Holiday Assistance Program provides families with children ages 13 years and under who need assistance during the holiday season, while supplies last.
Who is eligible?
Families with children who are their biological, adopted or have legal guardianship, live in their household, and are age 13 years old and under.
How to apply?
To apply, complete the application below in English or Spanish and follow the instructions.
- Families who are selected to receive assistance will receive a confirmation letter in the mail.
- The letter confirming holiday assistance will be mailed to the home address provided in the application.
- The confirmation letter will provide instructions for the parent(s)/guardian(s) of the children eligible to receive assistance. The letter will include the information for the required documents the parent(s)/guardian(s) must bring to receive the assistance.

When can I pick up the assistance?
The parent(s)/guardian(s) who applied will be invited to pick up the assistance on Wednesday, December 11th at the Indianapolis Urban League at the specified time in the confirmation letter.
