The Indianapolis Urban League is the nation’s oldest and largest social service and civil rights organization. The dedicated team at Indianapolis Urban League (IUL) is committed to providing direct services that help individuals and communities help themselves.
In 2014, we provided services to 18,929 individuals and families in 5 central Indiana Counties. However, each year the disparity gap grows exponentially in the Indianapolis community.
Building upon the legacy of past presidents Sam Jones and Joseph Slash, the IUL is uniquely positioned in the community and has a demonstrated track record of addressing many of the most difficult issues facing the underserved populations in Marion County.
With the support of the Indianapolis community, we will continue to provide training and resources to make our families stronger and our community a better place to live.
We are YOUR Indianapolis Urban League and we are here to assist and empower you!
We encourage you to participate in our programs, attend our community forums, volunteer, and to become a part of the Urban League movement in Indianapolis.
